The embarkation point is by Piazza Cavour, where Navigazione Laghi is located, and once on board you can immediately admire the Volta Temple, built in the occasion of the centenary of the death of Alessandro Volta, the War Memorial, dedicated to all the fallen, in particular to Antonio Sant’Elia, author of the drawings from which Terragni was inspired to build Palazzo Terragni, Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium the main football playground of the city of Como and the Novocomun, designed by Giuseppe Terragni, one of the first examples of modern architecture in Italy.

Finally, proceeding towards Cernobbio the majestic villas of the eighteenth / nineteenth century stand out, surrounded by green gardens: Villa Parravicino, Villa Resta Palladici, known as “la Rotonda”, Villa Olmo, Villa Erba and then Villa d’Este.

On the opposite bank, almost at the height ov Villa Olmo, you can also contemplate Villa Geno and iits large public park.
