We are located in a very quiet residential area of the city and we have the great advantage of being 5 minutes walk from the historical center and from the lake, we have a large garden, parkins spaces and a garage.
We are on the first floor of a late 19^th century building, which has always been owned by or family.

The 3 Rooms
The 3 bedrooms, one double with private bathroom, one single and double with a shared bathroom, are cosy and well furnished with an elegant taste that reflects the character and history of the house. You will enjoy a familiar and warm atmosphere.
The garden has a portion with lawn and the rest is shaded with five large lime trees that  will allow you to relax while enjoyng a glass of white wine.

We would like you to feel on holiday but also at home at Casa Gentile, perhaps enjoying a fresh glass of white wine in the garden after a boat trip on Lake Como or a walk through the medieval streets of the historical center.

Situated In the heart of Como

in 5 minutes by foot you reach the historical center with the Civic Museum, the Picture Gallery, the Romanesque San Fedele, the Duomo and the lake.
While walking along the lake side in Como you will find the embarcadero, where boats and hydrofoils depart for Menaggio and the upper lake.
A short walk from the center where you can visit the elegant shops of Via Vittorio Emanuele. Walking down towards the lakeside you can reach Villa Geno and also  the funicular station for Brunate.
You can visit the magnificent Romanesque church of S. Abbondio, Villa Olmo or the elegant Cernobbio. In 10-15 minutes you reach the hangar of the Aero Club Como from where you can have a panoramic plane flight.
As we have a deep knowledge of the area, we are available to explain you historical, naturalistic and sports itineraries in the city and in the surrounding areas and, if possible, we shall be happy to accompany you.
A few steps far from the B&B there are several paths that connect Como to Brunate, where you can experience unforgettable views of th city and the lake.
From Brunate (800mtr) different paths allow you to explore the Prealps of the Lariano Triangle between Como, Bellagio and Lecco, either by foot or by mountain bike.
You will find refreshment in the numerous huts along the way.
You can rest in our garden under the shade of the lime trees or spend a few hours relaxing on the sun loungers and deckchairs available.
